I ran into my friend Jim at the gas station in Reedsburg, and he wanted to bring his son out to fish in the river. I joined them, and we caught a catfish. I was struck by the light and color falling across the river scene, so I came back later to paint it. I like to paint the little interactions I have with friends and the memories that come from them.
This is the original painting, an oil on canvas measuring 0 x 0" and will come framed.
