I set up on the hill overlooking the annual Reedsburg Butter Fest carnival on a Saturday afternoon. The place was pumping with activity. Music boomed across the grounds, rides spun and flashed with color, and people bounced around with excitement. I can't resist painting a moving Ferris wheel. The challenge of capturing all that movement, color, and energy in paint is what makes scenes like this so much fun to paint.
This is the original painting, an oil on canvas measuring 20 × 24" and will come framed.
