I didn't paint any huge fields of sunflowers this year because the crops were rotated. But I did find these sunflowers growing along the edge of the field. They came from seeds that had fallen onto the ground the year before and germinated in the spring.
Nobody asked for these flowers to grow, but they shared their beauty with us anyway. I love that about nature, sometimes the most beautiful things are the ones that simply appear on their own.
This is the original painting, an oil on canvas measuring 30 × 40". It is a large piece and will come framed.
While shipping is possible, I strongly prefer local delivery within a reasonable distance, which I’m happy to provide for free. This helps ensure the painting and frame arrive safely and in the best possible condition.
