On sunny spring days, I would do yoga at home and then set up my easel in one of the downtown Baraboo neighborhoods before heading to the university to teach. Something different caught my eye each time. On this day, it was the dappled sunlight dancing across the lawns and houses, creating shifting patterns of light and shadow. I love how these ordinary neighborhood scenes become something extraordinary when the light starts moving across them.
This is the original painting, an oil on canvas measuring 16 × 20" and will come framed.
