Baraboo River by the Riverwalk

I was down along the Riverwalk with some students who were photographing the area when I came across this scene in late October. The Baraboo River moves especially fast as it passes through Baraboo because of the drop in elevation. On days like this, rapids rush past along the river, making it especially fun to capture the movement and energy of the water.

This is the original painting, an oil on canvas measuring 16 × 12" and will come framed.
