Spring is the best time of year for me. After a winter of grays and browns, the landscape erupts with pastel colors, and these are some of my favorite colors to use. Mother's Day is a time of year when we have so much to look forward to, and I imagine our mothers must have felt that same sense of excitement and possibility when we were all little. This mother hangs a basket of flowers on her porch on the windy morning.
This is the original painting, an oil on canvas measuring 16 × 20" and will come framed.
